A Cute T with Some Historical Black Ladies to Know & Women Empowerment!

Hello,  I recently learned about the reason for all the black and white image women empowerment posts on social media and happy to read the great cause behind it which is basically about supporting women to stop all the acts of violence.  I shared my black and white image on my instagram stories to support and accept the challenge.  As women, we should contininue to support each other and use our vioces to speak out against all acts of violence especially violence against women and kids in my opinion.

On the topic of women, after seeingthis T shirt on another blogger friend on instagram, I remember thinking to myself I knew some of these ladies but not all so I got the Tshirt which I thought was cute anyway and learned about these amazing historical black females.  These ladies are Harriet Tubman, Maya Angelou, Fannie Lou, So Journer Truth, Ida Wells-Barnett.  Harriet Tubman is an activist and an abolitionist who led hundreds of enslaved people to freedom, So Journer also an abolitionist and women’s rights activist, Fannie Lou was the cofounder of the freedom democratic party and a women’s rights activist, Maya Angelou was a famous poet, a memoirist, a civil rights activist also while Ida was a journalist who wrote for major black newspapers, an educator, and also also one of the early leaders of the civil rights movement.  This is just a little random reminder to keep on with what the black lives matter movement is about even after all the social media noise quietly fades.

I styled the tshirt with a bag and satin skirt (which I recommend shapers underneath for smoothing but didnot wear) of a similar color and added the white slides to be comfortable yet tie the look together.  Hope you liked any of these pieces and thank you for stopping by!
