Green from the holidays into the new year!

Happy new month! Hope you had a great weekend. Since I’m off on the weekends, I try to spend as much time with my babies because during the week, I’m gone for such long hours being a working mom. I took my daughter to a Nigerian (African) party on Saturday and loved seeing her have a good time and even dancing to the Nigerian music playing after all it’s a part of her culture.  I used to think if I had a party to go to, I’d leave the kids at home with the nanny even if it was kids friendly but I’ve found myself taking them to most parties even for a bit as a means to attend the party and have fun but also not miss out on them. I’m still tying to find a balance with all this.

About this look, I typically love black and white with white being my favorite color but I’m really loving green among many other colors and I think green like some colors can transition well from holidays into the new year, spring and even year round in my opinion.  I wanted to keep the look more monochrome with the green but then decided to break it up with the leopard heels and nude bag.  Hope you like and thanks for stopping by!
