Leather Leggings and Stepping on to 2016!

Hi! Hope you had a lovely Christmas and are prepared for the new year.  Besides what Christmas signifies, the birth of Christ which is amazing to me because I think of it as a new beginning, as hope, the other good thing about Christmas are the after Christmas sales.  I am still browsing at the sales but recently grabbed these leggings on sale because I love anything leather-like and like them. I think they a bit sexy yet comfortable and can be a New Years Eve outfit option from the typical dress look.

Because of the more fitted look of the leggings, I paired them with a more loose fit sweater but I thought the wild animal on the sweater was appropriate for the leather look.  Added black heels and bag and the look was complete.  Hope you like it.  Thanks for stopping by and I wish you a happy new year and thank you for my blog support!

Not Green with Envy!

Hello! Hope your Christmas week is going well and you are not stressing over the gift purchasing process.  I say this because sadly Christmas my favorite holiday like others has become so commercialized that we forget that it's the thought that matters ultimately.  I have to remind myself of this when I get stressed with shopping for the right gifts with perfect wrapping.
Anyway about this outfit, I loved the color green most about it, and rompers I just love year round.  I think a great way to wear them in cooler temperatures is to add tights, boots (although I switched to heels too), or a jacket which I did here (jacket not pictured). Back to the color, when I think green, I always think of the expression "green with envy" but honestly I'm not sure why that's said.  Do you know why? When I think green, I prefer to think of positive like money haha, and festive like the holidays.  I think green is a great color choice when in doubt for a holiday activity outfit choice.   Thanks for stopping by and I wish you a very merry, and loving Christmas!

Vintage Sequined Blazer!

Hello! Hope your week is going well.  Do you have a clothing item which reminds you of a certain moment? This sequined blazer does.  For me it reminds me of a fun day of eating, chatting, strolling and shopping in the village side with my mother in law and sister in law.  My sister in law actually spotted the jacket in a vintage store and I loved it because it's unlike anything I have. I always find vintage pieces to be slightly more unique....probably because they are more limited.  By the way, for the holidays, I think sequins are a good option when in doubt.
I paired the jacket with one of my favorite skirts, tights, heels and bag, keeping the rest of the look black so the focus stayed on the blazer.  Hope you like it, and thanks for visiting!
